The Role of Media in the Democratic Society

            A media democracy focuses on using information technologies to both empower individual citizens and promote democratic ideals through the spread of information. In addition to that, the media system should be democratic in its own construction. 

            Some news plays a significant role in how people view the political and social issues facing society. Within news organizations the editor is tasked with the job of deciding which stories are presented to the public. They should aim to provide news that is in the public interest. 

            The impact of media is really noteworthy. It make a coverage or hype of sensitive news has led to communal riots at times.
